About One Grooms Cottage
One Grooms Cottage occupies a converted building in Dunster, Somerset, with just three rooms giving it the feel of a small, personal place to stay rather than a large hotel. Each room comes with its own en-suite bathroom, and the cottage has a kitchen and garden with outdoor seating for guests who want to relax outside or put together their own meals. Drinks are provided in the rooms, and reception is staffed around the clock.
Two parking spaces are allocated to the property for guests' use, and pets are welcome, making it a practical base for those travelling with animals or a car full of luggage. The setting in Dunster puts guests within easy reach of Dunster Castle and the wider Exmoor National Park, with walking areas close by and horse riding, fishing, golf and watersports all available nearby, alongside pubs, restaurants and other entertainment in the area.
It suits guests who want a quiet, compact base for exploring Exmoor and the Somerset coast rather than a large-scale hotel experience, with free on-site parking removing one of the usual headaches of a rural stay.
