A C&C Club site in Kessingland. One of the best Club sites I have been too. Toilet and shower block is modern, spotlessly clean. Site is all grass, most pitches have electric, level and well maintained. Would have got 5 stars for the site but there are a few things you should know; 1) Entrance is down a poorly maintained, probably private 1/4 mile road shared with Africa Live. 2) Kessingland has few shops and it will be a 25 min walk down to the beach. Best place to park the car is behind the Village Hall which is free. 3)By the Hall is Catchpoles coffee shop which is highly recommended. 4) Large Morrisons and Sainsburys is a 7/8 min drive. 5) The site is between two large wind turbines which make a continuous 'wind' noise. Probably not an issue for those in a caravan/motorhome but, we were in a tent. 6) There is a bit of exotic bird sound from Africa Live, not an issue. 7) Site is a good position ti visit Southwold, Lowestoft, Gt Yarmouth and Norwich etc. Thats it!!

The site is what you'd expect from C&CC (which is good in my book) but the staff here are so welcoming, Gemma see us in, and she was exceptional (and patient) we had such a laugh with her, we spoke to the other lady as well, she was also lovely. So the two wind Turbines, if they are facing you, you will hear them, but I found the noise level more than acceptable, like a plane that's miles away, the worst thing about this site, and it's not really the sites fault, is the field nextdoor has a bootsale on a Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, the cars are parked ok you can't really hear it, but oh boy if you decide to go for a walk, you best be road aware, as they (I'd say over 90% of the exiting cars) drove like they was starting the newly formed Kessingland Grand Prix. Africa Live is directly nextdoor, apart from the odd noise from people chatting while parking in a tiny part of their huge carpark we found it more than ok, also the odd bit of animal noise on my early morning dog walks. On the whole this site, like so many CCC sites is excellent. I'd definitely recommend it

Just lovely, everything you’d want from a camping site. All grass by the way 👍🏻 Facilities are good and the water tastes like water should. Photos are from a visit to Norwich.

Great time to visit this site. Flat grass pitches . Amazing shower block very modern, clean and lots of cubicles and hooks to hang things on ! Big site quiet location, don’t let the wind turbines and zoo put you off !
