Stone Cottage

Stone Cottage comes ready for self-catering from day one. The kitchen has an electric hob and oven, microwave, washing machine, and all the basics needed to cook proper meals. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double bed (4ft 6in) and a single—plus a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room has a Smart TV, the dining room contains a sofa bed for an extra guest, and there's an enclosed garden with patio furniture outside. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; heating is by oil central heating. One dog stays free.

The cottage is in Fir Tree village near Crook, with a pub within a mile for evenings out. Durham itself is a short drive, home to the cathedral and castle, while the surrounding County Durham countryside offers walking routes and market towns to explore. You can park two cars on site. The property is non-smoking.
