The Pump House

Durham's countryside edge holds The Pump House, a ten-bedroom property scaled for large groups or extended families. The whole house is yours alone, sleeping up to 22 across four bathrooms. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included in your stay.

The building itself sits within substantial grounds where a private tennis court and two hot tubs occupy the terraces. A games room and snug provide indoor gathering spaces alongside the main living areas and dining kitchen. The surrounding landscape is rural, with a pub within a mile and access to the North Pennines on the doorstep—walking country, High Force Waterfall, Barnard Castle and the Dales are all reachable for day trips. Smoking is not permitted inside.
