The Tractor House

You walk straight into The Tractor House and find yourself in a single, open-plan space—kitchen, dining area and living room all in one room, with a bedroom and shower room off to the side. Everything is on the ground floor. The kitchen is properly equipped: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and microwave. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. The living room has a Freeview Smart TV. Oil central heating keeps things warm, and wifi is included along with bed linen and towels.

The cottage sits on a working farm near Durham, with a back garden (shared with the owners) where you can sit with a coffee. There's parking for one car on site. Public footpaths start from the property itself, running through countryside and nearby villages—useful if you want to walk rather than drive. Durham city centre, with its cathedral and regular events from book week to jazz festivals, is a short drive away. The A19 and A1 are both close by if you need them. No smoking in the property.
