What diners say
We chose the Prime menu. For starters, we had the salt and pepper calamari which tasted good with a nice mayo, and the golden arancini which was packed with flavour. For the main, we both went for the 325g ribeye, ordered medium. One was cooked perfectly, the other was overcooked. I mentioned it to the team but said I’d still eat it. For a place that focuses on steak, it was a bit disappointing. For sides, the chips were a let-down and felt more like a basic oven chip. The salad was fresh, the creamed spinach was good, the truffle mac and cheese was decent, and the chimichurri sauce was full of flavour. We finished with Kahlua Dom Pedros which were the perfect ending. We also had a bottle of water and a bottle of Pinot Noir Domaine de Cabrials at £37.50, You can usually pick it up for around £16, so the mark-up felt on the slightly high side. The restaurant setting was nice. The total bill with service was £168.75.

Lovely place to eat, not massive portions of food but very delicious. Cooked to perfection for our small group of diners. Prices about average for London and drinks the same. Love our waitress/ server Joanne from the Dominican Republic she is so lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you. Lovely little restaurant which is South African food. 😀

Had a fantastic dinner at Roxie and can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, we loved the cozy, rustic atmosphere. It felt very personable and homey. The service was impeccable - super quick and incredibly friendly. The staff were attentive and efficient, getting us seated and served promptly. The food was the star of the show! We started with cocktails, and my "Sevillian Swinger" was absolutely delicious. It was so refreshing and had a great kick of elderflower, which is often hard to find in cocktails. For our mains, I ordered the sirloin, and it was cooked to perfection. Beautifully tender with a wonderful sear, and the chimichurri was outstanding! It had the perfect amount of spice, something that many chimichurris lack. We also shared the mac n cheese, which was wonderfully saucy and packed with truffle flavour - a truffle lover's dream! The grilled crust added a delightful crunch. For two people, including two cocktails, two small glasses of Merlot, and an extra side, the bill came to £109. Considering the quality of the food and the overall experience, this felt like excellent value. I can't wait to go back to Roxie to try the burgers and the Sunday roast!

We visited this restaurant with my husband and daughter on last Sunday, having been here before and always enjoyed the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this visit didn’t meet the standards we previously experienced. One member of staff was dressed very casually compared to the usual standards we’ve seen here. More importantly, her manner while serving was not appropriate for a family setting. Her posture and the way she positioned herself while interacting with customers felt overly suggestive and unprofessional, creating an awkward atmosphere for us. At times it seemed like she was striking poses or behaving in a way that appeared more like flirting than providing service. Not sure if was for public or directed toward a male colleague. Considering we spent over £120, we expected the same high standards we experienced before. The food was good, but the overall environment did not feel welcoming, and we left feeling disappointed. We hope management reviews staff presentation and conduct to ensure the restaurant maintains a comfortable atmosphere for all guests.
