This is a working farm property where sheep graze nearby, so dogs must stay on a lead except within the enclosed field, where they can roam freely. One dog stays free. The location suits people who want quiet and space rather than village amenities; the nearest towns with shops and restaurants are Ayr, Prestwick and Troon. The Ayrshire Coastal Path runs along the shoreline about 20 miles away, and the area is known for walking, cycling, golf, castles and literary connections to Robert Burns.
