A Twist of Lyme

Couples and small groups will find A Twist of Lyme well suited to a coastal escape. The semi-detached cottage sits on the edge of East Devon, within reach of Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast's walking routes and beaches. One bedroom with a zip-and-link bed sleeps two, alongside a bathroom with both a roll-top bath and shower cubicle. Parking for two cars is on site, and one dog stays free.

The open-plan ground floor combines living, dining and kitchen areas. You get a smart TV loaded with Netflix and Amazon Prime, an electric wood burner for cooler evenings, and a kitchen fitted for cooking—electric oven, dishwasher and the usual appliances. An enclosed patio with garden furniture and a barbecue overlooks a large shared garden. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included, along with a welcome pack and dog extras.

From here, Lyme Regis's harbour and shops are a short drive away. Axminster, River Cottage, Forde Abbey and the Broadwindsor Craft Centre are all nearby. Coastal paths run between Beer, Branscombe and Seaton to the east; West Bay and Bridport lie further along the shore. No smoking inside the cottage.
