Sidmouth and its pebble beach lie within reach of this countryside base on Boswell Farm, a 52-acre estate in East Devon. Boswell Farm – The Holt is a three-bedroom cottage sleeping up to six guests, with two bathrooms and its own enclosed garden where a hot tub sits ready. One dog stays free.
The ground floor holds a living room, kitchen equipped for proper cooking, utility room with washer and dryer, one super-kingsize bedroom and a shower room. Upstairs are two more bedrooms – another super-kingsize and a twin with single beds – plus a second shower room. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and coffee machine, so self-catering is straightforward. Outside, a sitting area with barbecue faces the garden; parking for two cars and an electric charging point are provided.
The farm itself has a tennis court, children's play area and lake accessible to guests. A short walk reaches the village pub. The property is no-smoking.

Boswell Farm is in a stunning location deep in the Devon countryside. The surroundings are peaceful and the views charming. There is also on site EV charging which is always a bonus. However the cottage itself was disappointing. There were worn and frayed carpets with two unpleasant and possibly dangerous holes - one on the staircase. The whole place seems to be in need of some TLC which, I'm sure, would make it an outstanding place to stay.

Easy booking..no fuss or hassel.lovely and peaceful.the track to the property is a bit tight but only a few hundered mtrs long.5 mins from sidmouth centre.would recomend

Beautiful place to stay, very old fashioned cottages but that just adds to the experience, we booked literally a couple hours before we arrived, couldn't be happier. Well maintained tennis courts were a treat, so much space for walking the dog. Very friendly owners who were more than happy to help with a query or question. Can walk into the tiny village for food and a shop.would happily stay here again
