Estuary View

Estuary View is a remodelled semi-detached house spread across four floors, recently renovated to a high standard. Five bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, accommodate ten guests. The top floor bedroom has a bath as well as a shower room. Beds are flexible – some are super-kingsize, others zip-and-link doubles that split into singles on request. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included.

The main living space is open-plan, with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and wine cooler. Bi-fold doors lead from here onto a raised deck with glass balustrade – the main spot for watching the estuary and sitting outside. Below, on the lower ground floor, a games room holds a pool table, dartboard and table football. A lower patio is set up for table tennis. The garden is enclosed and laid with decking and patio, with barbecue facilities and furniture provided. There is parking for four cars, and the house is no-smoking.

This is suited to families and groups of friends rather than parties. Access involves five steps to the entrance and ten steps within the garden. Exmouth, East Devon's oldest seaside resort, lies nearby with two miles of beach, red cliffs and coastal paths, plus a working harbour to the west.
