Seymour House
East Devon
Seymour House is a Victorian property on the edge of Exmouth, a coastal town in East Devon. The house sits on level ground with step-free access to the front door, making it straightforward to arrive and unload. Inside, the ground floor holds a living and dining space, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a utility room with washing machine, and a separate toilet. Three bedrooms and a bathroom occupy the first floor—a double, two singles and a third single—sleeping up to five. The bathroom has both a bath and shower cubicle.
The rear garden faces south and includes a lawn, a summerhouse, a picnic bench and (new for 2025) a roofed pergola—useful for sitting outside without being entirely exposed to the weather. Two cars fit in the private parking; more space is available on the road. One dog stays free, and the house has gates positioned to manage pets and children on the stairs.
The 2-mile sandy beach at Exmouth lies roughly a mile away; the Jurassic Coast starts here, and from it you can walk onto the South West Coastal Path or follow the Exe Estuary Cycle Trail northward to Topsham. The town itself has water sports, boat trips and fishing charters. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; smoking is not permitted inside.
