Oak Apple Cottage is a detached cottage on the Blackdown Hills National Landscape in East Devon, sleeping two in a single bedroom. The owners live nearby but the cottage is entirely yours for the duration of your stay. Downstairs there is a living room with a wood burner, a kitchen/dining room with a full range of appliances including a dishwasher, and a bathroom with both a bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs, a galleried bedroom holds a double bed. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, along with initial logs for the stove.
The cottage comes with a private lawned garden separated from the courtyard by a few steps, where you can sit out with the furniture provided. One small dog is welcome at no extra cost. There is parking for one car on site, and a pub is within a mile. The village of Upottery is close by, and the area offers numerous walks through the Blackdown Hills. Honiton with its shops and antique dealers is nearby, as is access to the south Devon coast at Beer and Branscombe. The water supply is a natural spring from the hillside. No smoking is permitted. Children are not accommodated except infants in arms.
