Missing Link Glamping

We have just got back from a stay at the luxury glamping pod. The place is amazing. Beautiful food, helpful staff, very wholesome vibes. The pods were clean and we had everything we needed. BUT (and it's a big butt!) The mattress in our bed was horrendous. We went to bed around 1 and neither of us could sleep past five o'clock because our bodies were broken. We woke up in so much pain and the night sleep was very broken and uncomfortable. Im so so sad, this was our first night away from the kids in 7 years. I've been telling everyone how excited I was to sleep all night, without hearing "mummy!" But on the way home I cried because I'm so tired and upset. We were meant to stay two nights but I couldn't face another night in the bed. I'm so utterly disappointed because everything else was perfect. We aren't usually the type to complain but I've never experienced a mattress like it. And now I'm going to have to nap on the one day I have child free instead of enjoying the beautiful sunshine. We really really want to come and stay again so pleaseeeee let us know when the mattress gets changed in the 2 sleeper because we'd like to redo and sleep!! (We did inform staff of this) Such a great place but maybe bring and air mattress if you're coming. "*EDIT: Becky emailed us straight away to fix this issue and have got a new mattress!! Fantastic service. Couldn't ask for better!

Superb pie night in the Tap Room. Tasty home made food, great choice of beer need to book. Wine a bit pricey. Returned for Brunch which is excellent. Delicious imaginative food beautifully presented, great coffee and service. Worth a trip

I had a very disappointing experience at Missing Link Brewery, largely due to the unacceptable behavior of the staff. We visited with our 2-year-old daughter and were in the process of trying to get her into a high chair when staff became unnecessarily rude and impatient. The situation escalated to the point where one parent felt so uncomfortable they had to step away with our child. This was completely unwarranted, as our child was calm, not running around, and happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. When I attempted to address the issue, I was met with hostility from both bar staff and someone who identified himself as the manager. Rather than de-escalating the situation in a professional manner, the manager approached me aggressively. He eventually offered what could loosely be described as an apology, it felt insincere and did little to resolve the situation. His manner throughout was confrontational and made the remainder of our visit very uncomfortable. It gave the impression that while the business welcomes families in theory, in practice they are not accommodating or tolerant of young children. This is particularly disappointing given that we were respectful and simply trying to settle our child. Constructive feedback was clearly not welcome and was instead met with further aggression. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. The only reason this review is being given 1 star is because of one member of staff wearing a light pink top, along with the quality of the food. She showed kindness and professionalism by helping to box up food for us to take home to the parent who had left with our child. Her attitude stood in stark contrast to the rest of the experience and is the only positive worth mentioning. Having now read previous reviews I now look forward to a further rude and unprofessional response from a manager that has absolutely no people skills, and is not willing to take any feedback whatsoever. Will not be back and I would not recommend this venue to families. Having read your response it fits perfectly with an the other reviews on here. Never your fault, always other customers. Your staff member shouted at a 2 year old child and stormed off, I shouted to get her attention due to it being very loud and busy. I was met with aggression on your part and you got that close I could smell your breath. I have never written any review on here I think that says it all. Word of mouth goes a long way for local businesses, so good luck. See photo of how much partner had to eat her £42.50 meal. No more needs to be said.

Hidden gem! My husband had tried Missing Link beer in a taproom in Tooting Market, so recognised the monkey on the brewery sign! We've driven past a few times and at last had time to drop in today. Amazing selection of craft beers (we sampled 3) and bought a can of every beer to try at home! Friendly staff, great setup - there's also a field bar and glamping on site. Family friendly and in a beautiful rural location. Very much worth a visit.
