Me and my friend we visited the Hook Farm campsite over the bank holiday weekend while bike packing. We had an amazing experience and we are so lucky we got to explore this gem. Our initial greet from Will the land owner was so welcoming and he took the time to give us all the information we needed. The campsite is very big in terms of acre size and there is very clean compost toilets, hot showers and a variety of pitch including grass & trees. They provide firelog, firelighter and kindling wood! We will revisit for sure!! 5 Stars!!!

Amazing campsite with lovely staff and well spaced pitches. We stayed 2 nights and were very impressed with the facilities. Showers take 20p for 4 minutes use. They even had a pizza van on the Friday and a curry van on the Saturday. The shop had plenty of essentials to purchase as well. Overall great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Hook Farm Campsite! The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking if we needed anything. Their warm and friendly attitude made us feel very welcome. The campsite itself is surrounded by beautiful nature, peaceful and relaxing, and everything was kept spotlessly clean. This was actually our third time visiting, and we definitely plan to come back again and again. It’s truly a perfect place to enjoy the outdoors – highly recommended!

Found this camp via a Google search and booked for 2 nights. Amazing value for money, the site is clean, drinking water posts with sinks scattered around the fields as well as compost or chemical toilets. There is a shower block by the main entrance, hot water and clean! You can buy logs and kindling. Quaint village within walking distance, the village fair was on when I ventured in and it was lovely and friendly. The Cat pub is a must, good food, dog friendly. The owners of the campground regularly cleaned the toilets, checked in on us which was a nice touch, you can campfire and BBQ, no plot allocation so set up where you like! It is slopey, but it is in a valley so to be expected. If you pitch right, you will find a good spot anywhere! Super dog friendly, first site I’ve been to where my dog was off lead and he loved it! However everyone with dogs are responsible and respectful and would put on lead if unsure. If your car is heavy full with stuff and not 4x4 I’d say stay top field to be able to get back out again especially in wet weather. Overall a lovely green site close enough to London but felt miles away! I’m going back!
