Ailby Retreats - Primrose Cottage

Primrose Cottage is a single-storey semi-detached property in Ailby, a small hamlet two miles from Alford. Everything you need is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, so there's nothing to arrange before arrival. One well-behaved dog stays free of charge.

The cottage is compact but properly equipped. A double bedroom, shower room and combined living, dining and kitchen space all sit on the ground floor with level access. The kitchen has an electric cooker, hob, microwave and air fryer, so you can cook as much or as little as you choose. The sitting room has a television and opens onto a patio with garden furniture; beyond that is an enclosed lawn. On-site parking takes two cars. The property does not permit smoking.

Ailby sits at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, with walking and cycling routes through the surrounding countryside. Alford, just down the road, has shops, pubs and a weekly market. The area has a disused railway line and, if you fish, the neighbouring camping ground has a stocked pond.
