Groups and larger families will find The Granary works well for a shared escape. It occupies the entire first floor of a converted coach house on a working farm outside Louth, sleeping up to ten guests across two generously proportioned bedrooms. The main sleeping area has a zip-and-link super kingsize (split to twins if needed) plus two singles; the second bedroom offers a kingsize and another two singles. Both rooms have their own shower or bath, so there's no morning queue. One pet can stay free.

The accommodation centres on a substantial open-plan living space with two separate seating areas and two dining zones, letting you spread out naturally. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—electric cooker, hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer all included—so self-catering is straightforward rather than basic. Wi-Fi, heating and electricity are covered, along with bed linen and towels. A sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping if needed.

Outside, an enclosed garden has seating and a firepit. Louth itself, a Georgian market town known for independent shops and the exceptional spire of St James' Church, is within easy reach. There's parking for four cars on site. The property doesn't permit smoking.

This is such a lovely place to stay for a peaceful holiday. The gardens are beautiful and well stocked with toys to keep the children and teenagers happy. Along with vegetable and flower gardens and a woodland and meadows to explore. It’s only a short drive from Louth town which is beautiful. The room we stayed in was great too, with lots of character. The hosts are very friendly and always kind of you need to ask about local places. They even let the kids sit in the tractors one morning. Would definitely love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay, loved everything about it and hope to visit again. It’s a perfect place for both adults and children (our little boy of just under 2 had a brilliant time), and Paul and Flora have thought of everything. The accommodation was fantastic. Beautiful place and lots to explore on the farm, with a gorgeous beach only 30 mins drive away too.

We spent a long weekend here as a large family group (13 + 2 small kids)and it was perfect for our needs. The open plan lounge, dining area & kitchen was huge, making it easy for us all to get together for meals and socialising. The Granary is in a very quiet location just 5 minutes drive from Louth. It's clean and comfortable and we were made very welcome by the owners.

Paul and Flora were brilliant, accommodating our family with all its diverse requirements. Paul was happy to spend time showing our children the tractors and the animals, they found a bouncer for our 3 month old son, and did what they could to allow my father, who has mobility issues, to enjoy his stay. Friendly and welcoming, and happy to share their lovely farm with us.
