Market Rasen and the surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds draw visitors for the racecourse, market towns and rural walking country. Eastlands Barn sits on 40 acres of its own grounds, a converted farm building that sleeps ten across five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The whole property is yours alone, with space to spread out and a working fly fishing lake 30 yards from the house.

Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining area has a woodburner, and the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals—electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave included. Bedrooms vary between doubles and zip-and-link singles, each with an ensuite bathroom; one has a wetroom shower, others offer baths. An enclosed courtyard has seating and a gas barbecue. The hot tub accommodates eight and comes with a shower and changing room. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered; there's even a travel cot and highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog stays free.

The location sits between Louth, known for antique shops, and Horncastle, with Mablethorpe's beaches within reach for a day trip. Lincoln cathedral city is about 15 miles west. No smoking in the property.

We stayed here for a week an had a lovely relaxing holiday, there are a few big fields we could walk the dog around and also a pretty lake, it's also close to local shops. The owners were helpful if you needed anything or just for advice on where to go, also the lemon drizzle cake was a lovely touch enjoyed by everyone. We would definitely book here again.

A group of us stayed at Eastlands barn Nov 2024 and what a lovely place. The only downfall was the pool cues didn’t have ends on them and one of the double beds was rock hard so did not sleep well at all. If it wasn’t for these 2 things I would have rated 5 stars.

We had the best time at the Eastlands Barn for a family getaway. The tastefully decorated barn was very spacious, the bedrooms were big and there was lots of space to socialise in dining room and living room area. The kitchen was also very well stocked. The surroundings were beautiful and the hot tub had a great view. Bob was a very kind host and there was even homemade lemon drizzle cake when we arrived. Thank you for a fantastic stay and we hope to be back in the future!
