About The Adam and Eve

The Adam and Eve is built around a kitchen that has made its name with steak pies and Sunday roasts, alongside crispy chips that keep regulars coming back. It's a small hotel with just seven rooms, set above a working pub in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire, and it makes a practical base for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds.

Rooms are en-suite, with family rooms available for those travelling with children, and there's free on-site parking for anyone arriving by car. The bar and restaurant serve breakfast as well as kids' meals, and there's a garden with outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. Meeting rooms are also available for those combining business with a stay, and reception operates around the clock.

Beyond the pub, the surrounding area offers fishing, horse riding, cycling and walking routes, plus other pubs, bars and restaurants nearby for those who fancy exploring further afield. The interior is kept clean and well presented, and staff are consistently described as friendly, making it a straightforward, comfortable stopover in the Wolds.

Room was comfortable and well equipped for our one night stay. Food good. As we had a dog we had to eat in the bar area Fri evening which we totally accept. However. This was spoilt by a group who had a bull terrier like dog sprawled on the seating next to where I was eating and the group were raucous and used foul language . No staff acknowledged this. I did mention at breakfast but this should be addressed to all staff. So please can management be aware. It slightly spoiled our evening as we were on edge all the time

Did not stay in a room, just stopped by for lunch. Wonderful friendly welcoming staff. Great outdoor area with astro turf and tables and carvings. Dog friendly. Delicious food. Vegetarian selection good. I had a mushroom burger which was delicious. The chips were really crispy. Toilets really clean. Windows into kitchen so you can see the chef at work. Really looking forward to my next visit.

We've been a number of times now and it's always amazing. Such a nice atmosphere, service is friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Prices are very reasonable considering how good the food is. Easily the nicest place we've eaten in Lincoln. We always get a starter and main when we know it's too much food! Would recommend anyone to try The Adam & Eve. They cater really well for allergies as well.

We met with friends and ate here for the first time. The bar area is spacious, well stocked and has a good vibe about it there are also two nicely kept outside seating areas. The food served here was great and reasonably priced, i had the steak pie which was superb. Staff here were friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return at some point and am happy to recommend
