Oakwell Farm

Cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful cottage. We have just returned and are already looking at rebooking next year. The cottage is beautiful and spacious enough that we never felt crowded. The games room was a huge hit with both the adults and the children. It was lovely to arrive to find little things like tea bags, dishwasher tablets and other essentials you don't nornally find available to us. The beach is only a short drive and it was great to also find a dog park just 5 mins walk down the road. We all felt absolutely at peace here, especially first thing in the morning with a cup of tea, in the garden listening to the birds singing!

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful and tranquil location. We stayed here for May Bank Holiday weekend for a big family get together and it was wonderful. Loads of space, clean and comfortable with many welcomed extras including a cookie jar, tea, coffee, milk, washing up liquid and more. Everyone commented on how lovely and spacious this was with plenty of room for 7 adults and three grandchildren. The games room was a huge hit as was the outdoor toys inside the garden furniture table. The garden is a really good size and enclosed. Ideal for young children and dogs. We loved the location, not overlooked by other properties and a lovely feeling of space with open fields and a really good sized garden for children to let off steam. Huttoft Beach is literally 3 minutes up the road by car, which is fantastic to get there early morning to capture the sun rising over the sea. Weather was a little chilly but still loads to do. The Donkey Sanctuary is an absolute must for a visit. It's a lovely smiley place to be but check the opening hours. Oakwell cottage is in a brilliant location away from the crowds with lots of choice of places nearby to eat. We will definitely will be coming back. The owners are lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. We forgot to ask for a high chair when booking. They were there with one in no time at all. I loved the fact the cottage is all on one floor, well spread out so everyone had their own space when needed. A lovely place to relax and chill out with family and friends without being overly expensive. Highly recommended.

Currently staying at Oakwell Farm. The place is very spacious and is only a 3 minute drive to Huttoft beach. It is a great place to hangout and chill with family and friends. The garden is huge and the bedrooms are good sized. Alot of time has been spent in the games room, which consists of a arcade machine, dart board, pool table and TV. Will hopefully be staying here again in the near future.

Yes oakwell farm was a lovely relaxing place and very piece full we loved it very spacious and games room specious rooms one down side I struggle with the electric fire it wouldn't work and didn't like the metal bed loved every thing about it we didn't didn't want to leave beautiful dogs loved the place and the garden beach is beautiful dogs loved the beach oakwell farm is beautiful and beautiful countryside around it yes I would visit again the owner made it very cosy thankyou to the owner much appreciated I'm so happy I found this beautiful property Tina it really is just what I needed being in remission with breast cancer I really loved the place I loved the carpet and wooden beds it made it warmer and cosy didn't like the metal one made the room cold and was not cufie but I did love oakwell farm country side around it fantastic yes I visited farmers brown s for breakfast yesterday I would recommend beautiful x I think it would benefit from a gas log effect burner which would be more warmer electric fire didn't like at all but it's a beautiful place and you can hear the birds not much traffic brilliant x
