The Admirals

Families and larger groups will find The Admirals works well for a week by the coast. The house has three bedrooms—two doubles and one with single beds—sharing a bathroom, with a separate toilet on the ground floor. Parking for five cars and enclosed gardens front and back mean there's room to spread out, and one small dog can stay free.

The main living space centres on a fireplace opening onto a rear patio, with a second sitting room and a dining area. The kitchen has what you need to cook proper meals—electric hob and oven, range cooker, fridge and microwave. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Sandilands beach is a few hundred metres away, along with the National Trust Nature Reserve; the promenade is walkable and the village of Sutton on Sea nearby has shops and services. The shoreline here is quieter than many spots on the East Coast.
