North Somercotes sits on the edge of the Lincolnshire coast between Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes, a village large enough for shops, pubs and restaurants but quiet enough to feel removed from the busier resorts nearby. Macey's Cottage is part of Pigeon Cottage Holidays, a collection of properties here with shared grounds that include a coarse fishing lake and an on-site licensed bar with views across the water. Walking and cycling routes start from the doorstep; Louth, a Georgian market town, lies 8 miles inland.

The cottage itself is ground-floor throughout: a living and dining room with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, a double bedroom, and a shower room. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. You have an enclosed garden with seating and furniture, and parking for one car on site. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a shared utility room and available at extra cost. A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

This suits couples wanting a quiet base for coastal walks, cycle rides or a spot of fishing—a licence is required for the lake. Non-smokers only.

Pigeon Cottage Caravan Park, Tourer and Tent Site is an absolute gem. Sue and Ray are amazing hosts who go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome. The facilities are second to none—everything is exceptionally clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully presented. What really sets this place apart is the kindness and genuine care shown by the owners and their family. The special touches throughout the park make it clear how much pride they take in creating a wonderful experience for their guests. The bar is fantastic and run by a truly lovely family who make every visit enjoyable. From the caravan and camping areas to the cottages, the whole site is full of fun, laughter, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Every visit is a pleasure, and I can't recommend Pigeon Cottage highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Me and my kids love it at pigeon cottage. the site is so clean and tidy and the owners Sue and Ray are always on hand if you need anything nothing is too much for them, you can see they have put their heart and soul into this place and always treats everyone like family. the cottages are spotless and so well maintained. harpers shack is a fun filled bar whether its bingo, live entertainment or line dancing practice everyone is always smiling and having fun and the beer/pop/ crisps are reasonable prices (cheaper than pubs at home) Sue, Ray and all the residents are like family to us now and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. so thank you for making it feel like home from home to us and we will see you again soon xxx
