Shire Horse Barn

Shire Horse Barn works well for families after space and simplicity, or couples wanting a rural retreat with room for guests. The entire ground-floor layout means no stairs to navigate: an open-plan living area with wood burner and patio doors, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and three bedrooms including one with an ensuite shower room. A second bathroom serves the remaining bedrooms. One car can park on site, and one dog stays free.

Everything essential is covered—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi all included. The patio and rear garden have furniture, and you can request a travel cot or highchair if needed. Coarse fishing happens on-site, and a bike store is available. The grounds themselves are shared with other properties, though the barn itself is yours alone.

Walking starts from the door into 156 acres of farmland with private footpaths, plus direct links to the Heritage Bridleway and Viking Way, and a designated area for exercising dogs. The Lincolnshire Wolds spread around you. Note that there are steps in the grounds and a lake fifty yards away. No smoking inside the property.
