The Old Stables

The Old Stables is a single-storey cottage near West Ashby, sleeping four across two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. The living space includes a kitchen with a full range of appliances for self-catering, a separate dining area, and a living room with a DVD player. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; there is parking for two cars on site and one well-behaved pet stays free.

Seven acres of natural grounds surround the property (shared with the owners), providing space and quiet. A pub and restaurant are half a mile away. The location works well for exploring the Lincolnshire Wolds—Horncastle is two miles off, Lincoln Cathedral and its castle within reach, and Skegness on the coast is an easy drive. Fishing and a golf course are half a mile away. The property is non-smoking. Note that an unfenced beck runs about 250 yards from the cottage.
