Great walk through wooded area where you can spot deer. The beach areas have great rocky locations to explore. Tyninghame Beach, also widely known as Ravensheugh Sands, is one of the most spectacular, unspoiled coastal gems in South Scotland. Located in East Lothian between North Berwick and Dunbar, this expansive stretch of golden sand is famed for its sweeping wild dunes, panoramic views of the iconic Bass Rock, and its backdrop of dense pine woodlands. It even featured as a dramatic filming location in Season 5 of Outlander.

There’s parking area, we didn’t have to pay as we arrived at 8:00PM, After a short walk through some wooded area about a 10 minute walk, you finally get to the beach which is lovely and clean.

Great beach just north of Dunbar with good views up and down the coast. Car park is pay and display and can get busy at times. Nice woodland and dune walks to get to the beach. Plenty of space on the beach, so lots of room to walk and play. Well worth a visit.

My favourite Scottish beach so far. A lovely walk through trees to an expanse of sand and waves. I highly recommend a visit!
