Small certificated campsite near York with showers, set on a working farm.

About Melbourne Grange Farm Certificated Site

Melbourne Grange Farm is a certificated site on a working farm near York, holding just five pitches. The small scale means a quiet, low-turnover atmosphere—this is the kind of place where you might recognise other campers by day three. It suits people after peace rather than activity and social scene.

The site has showers on-site. Pitches are unmarked and the setting is rural; facilities are basic but functional. Acorn Glade Glamping, a different kind of accommodation, sits just next door, so the immediate neighbourhood mixes traditional camping with glamping visitors.

Stayed four nights at this peaceful CL working farm campsite. Well maintained flat field with water, electric and grey water on each pitch. Elsan & bins are in a wooden shed. No toilets, no shower so you need your own facilities. Flat area great for cycling. We did the Park & Ride in to York. Central for the east coast, Hull etc. Pocklington is busy, many cafes, 3 supermarkets. We would stay there again.

Nicley organised site. Everything you need. It wasn't busy when we were there but the showers and toilets might gets busy if the site was full. A short walk to the pub who do food but we didn't eat there but a good variety of beers. We enjoyed our stay

Lovely flat field, electricity & water at each pitch. No toilets or showers so need to be self contained. Chemical disposal point. 20 min walk (1mile) to very nice pub.
