Acorns

York lies seven miles away, its medieval walls and railway museum drawing visitors year-round. Acorns sits on a quiet private development, offering a single-level log cabin with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for four guests. One dog stays free of charge.

The open-plan ground floor contains living and dining areas with Freeview TV and CD player, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave all present. The first bedroom has a double bed with ensuite shower; the second holds two single beds served by a family bathroom with both bath and shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. Parking for two cars sits on site, and the enclosed garden with decking provides outdoor space. Smoking is not permitted.

The cabin works for couples or families alike. York's bus routes and park-and-ride facilities are a ten-minute drive, making the city easily reachable for days out.
