Baker’s Cottage

Baker's Cottage is a Grade II Listed property dating from the 17th century, set in the village of Hotham in East Riding of Yorkshire. The building retains its original character and period features, including York stone-flagged floors and vaulted ceilings. It sleeps six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it suitable for families or groups exploring Beverley, Market Weighton and the Yorkshire Wolds nearby.

The ground floor contains a living room with woodburner and a spacious kitchen/dining area with French doors to the rear garden. Bedroom 1, a double, is also on this level with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, two further bedrooms—a double and a twin—share a bathroom with a roll-top bath and separate shower. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; initial logs for the woodburner are provided. There is private parking for one car and bike storage on site. One small dog is welcome.

Outside, an enclosed front garden with patio leads to a rear garden. The cottage sits a short distance from The Hotham Arms and provides a base for exploring the network of walks and cycling routes across the Wolds. No smoking is permitted inside.
