Cowslip Cottage opens onto an open-plan ground floor: living and dining space with Freeview TV and DVD player flows into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, with electric oven, gas hob and all the basics. Upstairs are three bedrooms (a double, two singles, and a single) and a bathroom with bath and shower. One double bed measures 4ft 6in; the singles are 3ft. The cottage sleeps five and is yours alone—no shared access to other properties. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered; a travel cot and highchair can be arranged if needed.
The farm sits in 10 acres of grounds where guests can feed and handle sheep, pigs, ponies, rabbits and other animals. There's a lawned garden with seating and access to shared picnic areas and a barbecue. An on-site lake lies 200 yards away. Parking for two cars is provided, and there's a designated dog walk—one pet stays free. The coastal town of Hornsea is a 4-mile drive; Mappleton Sands beach is closer still. Beverley's minster and racecourse are within reach, as is The Deep aquarium in Hull city centre. The Wolds inland offer walking and cycling. No smoking throughout. Families and couples only.

Me and my family have just enjoyed our 3rd holiday in Primrose cottage and loved it, again. We even brought my parents, who stayed in Cowslip cottage and they have enjoyed it just as much. The whole site is lovely and peaceful. I love sitting by the lake and my kids love the football pitch and animals, and they even cried when we had to come home. The owners Liz & Dave are just so lovely and welcoming. They have created such a wonderful place to switch off from the world and make amazing memories. If i was planning on getting married, i would absolutely have it here, it must be so magical. However, i will just have to look forward to booking another holiday next year.

What an amazing campsite. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They had covered everything from a nice area to walk the dogs and the lake with its own beach. 10/10

Lovely little farm, with a few cottages, an area for campers, a lake with a couple of boats, farm animals, play area for small children and football goals for any age. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to chat and tell you about the animals. A very quiet and peaceful area, even with the odd donkey 🫏 or horse noises. I stayed in the Hayloft so had the added extra of the hot tub, which was fab and private with screening up. 2 beaches are close by mappleton and Hornsea and a tiny shopping village, would definitely recommend x
