East Riding of Yorkshire

Daffodil is a single-storey cottage on Clapham Holme Farm, set within 10 acres of countryside between Hull and the coast. It suits families and small groups after a base for exploring East Riding—the bedrooms sleep four (a double and two singles), and one bathroom serves the property. You have the whole place to yourself, with parking for two cars on site.
The open-plan ground floor holds a living area with Freeview TV, separate dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, gas hob, microwave, and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. One dog stays free, and children can meet the farm's goats, pigs, sheep, ponies, donkeys and poultry. A designated dog walk runs through the grounds, and there's a lawned garden with seating and a barbecue (shared with other cottages on the farm).
Mappleton Sands is close enough for beach days, and Hornsea—four miles away—has The Mere for birdwatching, boat hire, and seaside amenities. Beverley's minster and racecourse, The Deep aquarium in Hull, the stately homes at Burton Agnes and Sewerby Hall, and the Yorkshire Wolds are all within reach. Pubs operate in the nearby villages of New Ellerby and Withernwick; the closest shop is four miles away. No smoking is permitted in the cottage.

Me and my family have just enjoyed our 3rd holiday in Primrose cottage and loved it, again. We even brought my parents, who stayed in Cowslip cottage and they have enjoyed it just as much. The whole site is lovely and peaceful. I love sitting by the lake and my kids love the football pitch and animals, and they even cried when we had to come home. The owners Liz & Dave are just so lovely and welcoming. They have created such a wonderful place to switch off from the world and make amazing memories. If i was planning on getting married, i would absolutely have it here, it must be so magical. However, i will just have to look forward to booking another holiday next year.

What an amazing campsite. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves. The owners were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. They had covered everything from a nice area to walk the dogs and the lake with its own beach. 10/10

Lovely little farm, with a few cottages, an area for campers, a lake with a couple of boats, farm animals, play area for small children and football goals for any age. The hosts were very welcoming and happy to chat and tell you about the animals. A very quiet and peaceful area, even with the odd donkey 🫏 or horse noises. I stayed in the Hayloft so had the added extra of the hot tub, which was fab and private with screening up. 2 beaches are close by mappleton and Hornsea and a tiny shopping village, would definitely recommend x
