Saxmundham offers proper market-town amenities—a pub within a mile, independent shops, and a working high street—with the Suffolk Coast reachable by car for seaside walks and birdwatching. Chapel Cottage puts you five minutes on foot from the centre, so you can explore without needing the car every time.
The cottage is a single-storey open-plan living space with a kitchen (electric oven and gas hob for cooking proper meals), dining area, and sitting room with Smart TV and DVD player. One bedroom upstairs contains a three-quarter double bed. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included. One small dog can stay free; smoking is not permitted, and the property is adults-only.
A covered alleyway at the front provides space to dry coats and boots after exploring, or store a bike. The sitting-out area has garden furniture. Essentials are on-site; you'll need to bring your own welcome pack attitude.

Stayed in Corner Cottage with my dog and the cottage was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and 5 minutes walk from the town centre. The host was very helpful and accommodating, providing a fan with out being requested due to the heat. The cottage felt very secure and was in a quiet area. I would definitely stay again when visiting Sax.

My mother and I stayed in Flint Cottage, which is beautifully decorated and appointed. There is plenty of storage in each room and an abundance of cutlery, glasses, dishes and everything you could need. The owner came at once when we had a problem with the dvd player but I would suggest looking into Freesat as there are relatively few channels available in Saxmundham on Freeview, and the ones my mother likes to watch were not available on the television. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Altogether we had a lovely time and will stay there again. Many thanks for a lovely experience.

Quite a nice cottage in an okay area. The owner is not very nice. Would not recommend to anyone.
