Saxmundham sits on the edge of Suffolk's countryside, with walking trails threading through farmland and heathland, and the coast around Aldeburgh within reach. Oak Cottage is a substantial house sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, privately yours for the duration of your stay. The ground floor holds a living room with wood burner, a kitchen and dining area anchoring one side, and a bedroom with its own bathroom—useful if anyone prefers not to climb stairs. Two further bedrooms are upstairs, along with a second shower room. One dog or other pet can come along at no extra cost.
The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking, with an oven, induction hob, dishwasher and American fridge-freezer; a washing machine and tumble dryer sit in the utility room. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included, and the heating runs on LPG. Outside, an enclosed garden has lawn, seating and a gas barbecue. Parking is available for two cars, and there's bike storage too.
Within walking distance are Saxmundham's shops, pubs and restaurants. RSPB Minsmere lies a few miles south, Westleton Heath National Nature Reserve even closer—both excellent for a morning walk. The seaside at Aldeburgh is seven miles away, and various museums and attractions dot the wider area. No smoking inside the property.
