Barn Owl Cottage

Barn Owl Cottage sits on a working stud farm in the Suffolk countryside, a few miles from Woodbridge. The location puts you within easy reach of several Suffolk highlights: Snape Maltings concert hall and its galleries are 4 minutes' drive away, Orford with its famous smokehouse and harbour is 2½ miles off, and the coast itself is accessible on foot through the surrounding farmland. The farm's own grounds open onto country walks that lead toward the heritage coastline, and you share the rural setting with horses and visiting birdlife.

The cottage has two bedrooms upstairs and down. The ground floor combines living and dining space around a woodburner, with a kitchen that has everything needed for cooking from scratch—oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine included. Upstairs is the second bedroom. One bathroom serves the whole property. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all covered; logs for the burner are provided to start you off. A lawned garden with patio and furniture wraps around the building, and there is parking for two cars on site. The cottage is non-smoking.

The farm setting appeals to those who want countryside quiet without driving far for food, drink or culture. A pub and shop are 2½ miles away. Cots and highchairs are available if you ask ahead.
