Valley Farm Cottage

Valley Farm Cottage sits on a working stud farm near Woodbridge, a few steps from the entrance and arranged entirely on the ground floor. You walk straight into an open-plan living space with a wood-burning stove, then through to the kitchen and dining area. The two bedrooms are a super king and a room with zip-and-link single beds (convertible to a super king on request), served by a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The essentials—heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels—are covered; initial fuel for the stove is provided, and there's parking for three or four cars on site.

The cottage comes with an enclosed garden, patio and sitting-out area, plus a BBQ if you want to cook outdoors. A bike store is available, and if you're bringing a horse, stabling can be arranged. The farm itself is quiet and rural, home to horses and birdlife, with good country walks leading towards the Suffolk coast. Snape Maltings—known for its concert hall and galleries—is four minutes' drive away. Orford, with its smokehouse and working harbour, lies two and a half miles off. The wider area includes Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Dunwich and Southwold within easy reach. No smoking indoors.
