Aldeburgh sits on Suffolk's Heritage Coast, where shingle beaches meet a working fishing fleet and the high street runs with independent shops, galleries and restaurants. Coastal Cottage is positioned within the village itself, moments from the seafront and everything the town offers. St Peter and St Paul's Church stands nearby as a landmark of this charming destination.
The cottage is yours alone, sleeping three across two bedrooms: a king-size bed in the main room and a single day bed in the second, which works equally well as a dressing room. Downstairs, a living room with smart TV opens to a courtyard sitting area; the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. A shower room completes the ground floor. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all provided.
The town's draw extends beyond the beach. Snape Maltings, a few miles inland, is home to a world-class concert venue and arts centre surrounded by reedbeds and the River Alde. The wider area—designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—offers salt marshes, nature reserves and long walks along the coast. One well-behaved pet is welcome. No smoking indoors.
