Beccles, the nearest market town, is five minutes away by car and has independent shops, chain stores, cafés and restaurants ranging from fine dining to homemade-cake stops. The Broads National Park lies close by for kayaking, canoeing and boat trips. The weekly market in Beccles is strong for local produce if you want to cook in.
