The Norfolk coast and the Lowestoft Maritime Museum are within reach on foot or a short drive. Southwold's pier and the Adnams Brewery lie nearby for a day out, while the Norfolk Broads invite exploration by boat. Africa Alive wildlife park and Pleasurewood Hills are accessible for those wanting something different, and the surrounding landscape—estuaries, heaths, historic villages—rewards walking or cycling.
North Cottage forms part of a lighthouse built in 1874, now converted into holiday accommodation. The ground floor holds a living room with a smart TV and a kitchen/dining space where you can cook properly: electric oven, hob, microwave and full-sized fridge. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and a pair of bunks, the other with a double—plus a shower room. The property sleeps up to six. Essentials like linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are provided, along with a welcome pack. A back garden with seating and furniture overlooks the quieter side of things; parking is on the road outside.
The location sits on Lowestoft's High Street within a mile of the beach, surrounded by local shops, pubs and cafés. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.
