Caravan park in Lowestoft with showers, a short walk from the Maritime Museum and seafront cafes.
About North Denes Caravan Park
North Denes sits in Lowestoft on Suffolk's east coast, within easy reach of the town centre and seafront. The Maritime Museum is just up the road, and a couple of local cafes are a few minutes' walk away, making it straightforward to explore what the town has to offer without needing a car for every trip.
The park has showers on site. Lowestoft itself is a working port town with a long history tied to fishing and maritime heritage, so the setting reflects that character rather than offering typical seaside resort aesthetics.

What visitors say
We stayed at this park This weekend , fridge smelt of a dad rat and it looked like no one had cleaned it it was a caravan in the 90’s numbers , when we complained about the oven not working the park said not our problem deal with owner tried to contact number given for cleaner they went to voicemail and no response at all. Then we were told to stop playing football the kids as it went under caravans if you have kids do not even bring them there’s nothing to do here for them as most people live here . The service was bad and the way kids are treated by residents is poor . We stayed in many caravans and this was poor site to stay

I would say it is what it is! In one direction there is a beach in the other. There is the most gynamis bird's eye factory, making chicken burgers and fish fingers all day long i'm pumping out more steam than a power station.

Staying in caravan 54, excellent van 1 minute walk to sea wall then a 5 minute walk to beach. Excellent for dog walking, lots of areas to walk all within minutes. Weather has been amazing and van has large decking fenced in so again great fir out dog. Lovley ladies in the office very helpful. Highly recommend.

Booked my cousin and her family here as I heard good reviews and wanted somewhere near the beach. Told them that she had 2 very autistic children one who likes to escape. Said all windows and doors have safety latches for safety even though after telling them on the phone he likes to try and get out. They assured her and carried on with the booking. Everything is done online or via phone and when they arrived I helped get them in and settled and all was good. Until the night. Having checked the windows and doors ever window has a push button lock which is easily opened and the door only has a twist lock on the inside. Very easy for a kid to twist open and get out. It’s a key on the outside. Had rung the firm to ask if there was a more secure caravan they could get to and they refused to help or move her. They barricaded the door with heavy furniture which took the two of them to put in front of the door, the child who likes to escape managed to get out and made it a mile up the road after calling the police and had all of my local family coming down to help them look for him!! If you have any children with additional needs, severe autism or are disabled, do NOT come here. Will never come back. Most of the caravan park is privately owned too. You can instantly tell as they are the much nicer caravans. No facilities or shops onsite. Town is the nearest
