Waterside lodges and bungalows in Lowestoft with a marina, bar and restaurant on site.
About Broadlands Holiday Village
Broadlands Holiday Village is a waterside resort in Lowestoft with casual bungalows and Scandinavian-style lodges. The site sits beside Broadlands Marina, so boats and water are central to the place rather than an afterthought. There is a bar and restaurant on site, and showers are available.
The marina is genuinely working—boat sales, training and moorings all happen here, which gives the resort an active, functional character rather than a manicured feel. A swimming pool is a short walk away. This is somewhere for people who want to be near water and don't mind a working waterfront atmosphere.

What visitors say
The park is a tricky turnoff from the main road, however once there, it's a spacious area. The lodges provide large parking spaces. Our particular lodge boasted a location overlooking the Broads. That, whilst factually correct, is a stretch. See photos for the view. The lodge was very cold on arrival, but the heaters made the venue cosy within a few hours. It was great that all of the essentials were provided onsite. The double bed wasn't cleaned very well and we had to sweep dander and large particles from the sheets before we could use it. The hot water tap in the shower is very stiff. This can be problematic if you turn the water temperature up to high, which is as almost scalding, then can't turn it down. These issues aside, the owner has made great efforts to provide an accommodating lodge, and I would return.

Six of us had our Secret Santa present exchange Christmas lunch here on the 11th December. It's in a lovely peaceful setting. The place is clean, the welcome is friendly, the service was faultless and the food was more than delicious. We had the best time there. Thank you for making it such a pleasant time.

Really nice and peaceful place even though our home (Number 52) was close to the railway station the noise was very minimal, could hardly hear it. Such a peaceful place. It has been so warm here this week that we have not needed heating but had the large windows wide open. No complaints at all, the cleanliness is superb, the site well maintained but still peaceful. We have been to Lowestoft many times in caravans but this beats any of those for a place to stay. My wife and I both struggle to walk, her with a walker and me on crutches, we are both in our late seventies yet we managed to walk to Nicholas Everitt Park from our lodge. It wasn’t easy for us in the heat but we did it two days in a row now. The bed is so nice, large and comfortable in fact with all the exercise we are getting, we are sleeping better here than we do at home. It is just a shame it is so far from where we live (245 miles away) especially as we have relatives just 8 minutes away from here.
