Owls Roost

East Suffolk

Aldeburgh draws visitors for its arts festivals, shingle beach and position within the Suffolk Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town has long been a centre for music and culture—the Aldeburgh Music Festival still runs alongside poetry events, galleries and independent shops. A 20-minute walk takes you to the seafront, where fishermen sell the day's catch from wooden huts, or you can head further afield along coastal paths toward Southwold and Minsmere Bird Sanctuary. Snape Maltings Concert Hall lies inland up the River Alde valley.

Owls Roost is a detached cottage on a quiet street, offering one bedroom and one bathroom across a single storey. The bedroom has a zip-and-link double bed (which can be arranged as two singles if needed) and garden doors that frame sunrise views. The living area combines a kitchen with electric oven and gas hob alongside comfortable seating and a 34" smart TV; beyond lies a small enclosed garden with patio furniture, ideal for breakfast before a day out. Everything is on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and utilities are included; there is parking for one car on site. Smoking is not permitted.

The cottage suits couples or solo travellers seeking the Heritage Coast—whether for walking, cycling, birdwatching or simply to explore galleries and catch a performance. A shop and pub are half a mile away; restaurants sit roughly a mile off.
