Riversdelle

Built with character and positioned directly alongside the River Waveney, Riversdelle commands a waterside setting in East Suffolk's southern Broads. The house holds three bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to eight, and is yours entirely for the duration of your stay. The ground floor contains a living and dining space with smart TV and sofa bed, a kitchen fitted with a range and dishwasher, a cinema room with an 85-inch screen, and a wet room. Upstairs, two double bedrooms open onto a balcony overlooking the gardens, while a third bedroom contains two single beds; the main bathroom has a bath with shower over.

The grounds include a private garden furnished for outdoor use, and a hot tub for six on the terrace. Fishing is available directly from the garden; the river itself lies about 20 yards from the house. Parking accommodates two cars. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; heating is via gas underfloor system. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Beccles itself is a short walk away—a market town with independent shops, restaurants ranging from fine dining to cafés, and a weekly farmers market. The Broads National Park surrounds you, and activities like kayaking, canoeing and boat hire are available locally. Beccles Lido is within reach for those wanting a change of pace.
