Woodbridge sits on the edge of Suffolk's Heritage Coast, within easy reach of Aldeburgh and a landscape of country walks, golf courses and fishing lakes. The Thatched Cottage occupies a quiet village setting and dates from the 17th century, though inside it combines period charm with modern comforts. A wood-burning stove anchors the main living room; separate seating areas, a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms serve the main house. The layout works well for families or groups—three bedrooms sleep six, with a four-poster bed in the annexed bedroom and single beds in a second room upstairs.
The annexe has its own shower room and living space, making it ideal if part of your group wants privacy. You get parking for two cars and an enclosed garden with patio to the rear. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included, along with initial fuel for the stove. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property does not permit smoking. A fenced stream runs along the far end of the garden, about 50 metres away from the house.
Shops and a pub lie roughly two miles away; the beach is five and a half miles north. Arrival is after 4pm, departure before 10am.
