Uggeshall is a walker's village, threaded through with country lanes and marked footpaths, with a shop and pub within a mile. Three miles south brings you to Southwold and the sea. Treeview Lodge sits within the grounds of a Georgian house on three acres of woodland, where deer, owls and kingfishers move through the trees.
The whole lodge is yours alone: everything on a single floor with an open-plan living space that centres on a corner sofa and a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Two bedrooms—one with a super king bed, the other with a zip-and-link that converts between double and twin—lead to a shower room. A small balcony with seating looks out over the grounds, and parking for two cars is on site. The barn-style interior has exposed beams, vaulted ceilings and skylights. Electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included; a cot and highchair are available.
There are 13 steps in the grounds and an unfenced pond about 200 yards away. No smoking is permitted.
