Wisteria House
East Suffolk
The Norfolk Broads are within reach, Southwold's shingle beach a short drive, and Aldeburgh and Beccles not much further. Wisteria House sits in Henstead, a village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close enough to make a morning trip to any of them realistic. Two pubs and a shop in nearby Wrentham mean you don't have to go far for an evening out.
The house itself is semi-detached, renovated to a high standard with a blend of period character and modern comfort. Ground floor has a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room with French doors onto a patio and enclosed garden, plus a living room with a woodburner. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a zip-and-link super kingsize (which can be split into two singles), a double with ensuite shower, and twin beds. There is also a separate bathroom with both a bath and double shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven. Bed linen, towels, wifi and logs for the woodburner are included. The property sleeps 6 and has parking for three cars. No smoking please.
