Excellent customer service provided last night by the Reception Desk, when our party of four arrived with some of us on our first ever visit. The staff were friendly, supportive and professional, and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome. The venue is smart, and very modern. The seats are keenly ramped to ensure that any patron will see over the head of any person in front. The sound and picture quality are both excellent, and the "free pass" ticket idea is an absolute bargain for regular cinema-goers. Well done, Cineworld Eastbourne!

The cinema is supposed to be entertainment, not an assault on the senses or an attempt to deafen your customers. Whoever is responsible for the sound in this cinema is either deaf or seriously hard of hearing. And even if they were, surely they could still feel the way the bass physically shakes your body throughout the entire film? We weren't the only ones struggling. People around us were covering their ears, and several walked out altogether. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to complain in person because we had to collect our child. Otherwise, I would have requested a full refund. We love going to the cinema, but this experience was so unpleasant that it made us never want to come back to the Cineworld at the Beacon Centre. Genuinely the worst experience we've ever had at the cinema. We submitted a complaint on their website and heard nothing back, so we're leaving a review here. To be clear, the staff are at least friendly, but they've got to fix this sound issue.

Staff were fabulous, screen size and seats were excellent... my only slight complaint would be how hot it was in there, the AC only seemed to come on towards the end of the film but hey, it is what it is.

Awful. I was waiting in the line for ages because this staff member was talking to 2 other people and having a whole chat then the staff spilled popcorn everywhere and where it went on the table they put back into the box which is gross secondly i went to go watch the backrooms which is for 15 and they said i needed to have id and i said what id they said a passport and who brings a passport with them to the cinema because i don’t think im flying anytime soon at the cinema. The man wouldn’t let me in and told me to change movies so i did i watched disclosure very bad do not recommend then i was texting one of my family members in discreet quickly and this man comes up to me and says no phones which i understand but i was texting a family member because bare in mind this was at around 10:00pm so please be more kinder and more friendly and look at me before you say i’m underage because i was not.
