About Glastonbury Hotel
Sea views come as standard from many rooms at the Glastonbury Hotel, which occupies a spot on Royal Parade right along Eastbourne's seafront. It's a straightforward base for a coastal break, with the promenade on the doorstep and the town's attractions within easy reach.
Rooms are en-suite and include family options for those travelling with children, plus a lift for easier access to upper floors. Breakfast is served on-site, and there's a bar for evening drinks along with outdoor seating to make the most of the views. A games room adds a bit of extra entertainment, useful on days when the weather doesn't cooperate, and free WiFi and luggage storage cover the practical basics.
Outside the hotel, the surrounding area suits an active stay, with cycling and walking routes nearby, plus golf, fishing and watersports on offer for those wanting to get out and about. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are within easy walking distance, and there's entertainment nearby for evenings out. It's a well-placed option for a seaside stay in Eastbourne, whatever the season.

Well, looks great from the outside. Not brilliant inside. Needs lots of TLC and ££££'s to improve it. I had a sea view. The French windows didn't close properly and one broken pane of glass was secured with tape. The frame was broken and had a gap in it. The balcony was communal so anyone could (and did) walk passed! Very noisy at night. If I'd been booked for a long stay, I'd have checked out. Apparently, locals suggested it's one of many hotels that are used to home refugees? On the plus side. Tidy room. Smart TV, tea and coffee. Nice view of the sea and £2 a day to park with voucher issued by hotel. Management were OK and tried to help but probably wont go back again because of the noise.

The decor and venue is quite dated but I enjoyed my stay. If you stay try to get a sea view room if you can, I had a double sea view room and the view was just lovely. Room was comfortable, TV is very small but I was watching the view more than the TV anyway. I guess if they update the decor then it wouldn't be a nice cheap price so in many ways I appreciate it.
