A wonderful stay — spotless rooms, great food, and staff fully focused on customer comfort. Liked · The rooms are comfy, tidy, and cleaned daily, making the stay consistently pleasant. What truly stands out is the staff — they work with the dedication and pride of owners. Their attitude makes them an essential part of the property’s charm and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. Everything was impeccably clean and well‑kept. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, with every table dressed in crisp tablecloths and fully set as you’d expect in a top‑class dining venue. The staff were plentiful, consistently warm, smiling, and attentive. The food was outstanding. Special praise goes to the chef for the shrimp cocktail and the roast lamb with a mint and herb crust, both of which were exceptional.

Four of us had a lovely weekend stay particularly noticing the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff. the rooms are traditionally decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our Sunday jazz lunch was wonderful - the food and the singing. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The other couple in the party had a sea view and, next time, I would book one too! What a lovely experience to stay at this great hotel. From the welcoming and friendly staff - who go out of their way to make your stay an experience to remember - to the relaxed and comfortable ambience in the lounges, it is well worthy of five stars. The food is so much better than many hotels, with an extensive menu to cater for everyone. Expertly prepare, cooked and presented the meals were excellent. The sea view room was very comfortable and clean, with everything provide to make a stay here a genuine pleasure. We are already making plans to return.

Family /Friends and I have ALWAYS had top notch service here, whether it was work 'do's, breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas or drinks. So sad that the management are retiring. I know it's controversial but I dont give a damn! The owner of the Langham Hotel was the only Hotel in that block who outright refused the Home Offices offer of Millions of pounds to take ' Migrants' - BOAT MEN! Which in turn meant they did not benefit from the total refurb of those hotels of whom DID accept the HOs lucrative offer, which again amounted to million of pounds (because those hotels were wrecked by our 'guests', windows smashed, curtain rails pulled out of the walls, furniture ruined beyond repair, thus unable to be used for future visitors) I should imagine that the Langham wanted to maintain those bookings they already had for their valued customers. Not an easy choice to make but they did so and I for one, have the utmost admiration and total respect for them. IF only others had such principles!! But Avarice is always so enticing, especially if you are running a failing enterprise, when just one look at the exterior puts any prospective client off entering for any reason, let alone staying over!!! I wish the Langham Hotel owner's a very happy, peaceful retiremement. You did GOOD! It was also sooooo refreshing, back then, to see a Hotel without heaps of Bicycles piled up outside oh and not forgetting the Deliveroo /Just Eat take away bags piled up, where our 'guests' were making a few pounds on the side, just to complement what our Great British Politicians were handing out freely to those young MEN. Thank You Langham Hotel for having principles and keeping the hotel as a special place for patrons to visit. Julie Akers Bexhill On Sea
