About The Devonshire Arms
A bridal suite and VIP facilities set The Devonshire Arms apart from the average countryside pub stop, marking it out as a wedding venue as much as a place to stay. Found on Lightwood Lane in Middle Handley, near Eckington, it offers a traditional Derbyshire base within reach of Bolsover Castle and the Peak District.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and family rooms for those travelling with children, with kids' meals catered for at breakfast and in the restaurant. The bar and outdoor seating area give guests places to relax outside of mealtimes, while meeting rooms and 24 hour reception make it workable for business stays and events alongside weddings. Free WiFi runs throughout, and free on-site parking is provided.
Golf, fishing and entertainment are all available nearby, and the surrounding area has a choice of pubs, bars and restaurants beyond the hotel's own dining room. It suits those wanting a straightforward countryside stay in Derbyshire, with the option of a function room or bridal suite if the visit calls for something more.
