A really well run, clean and organised site. We stayed in our campervan for 1 night during the Easter weekend, the campsite was full but did not feel one bit busy. The pitches are huge with electricity included. There are two shower/toilet blocks, both clean and 1 with a pre paid laundry. Walks from the campsite arround the country park are amazing and perfect for dogs. An idealic family site with stuff to do for all ages. Would definately return.

Overall we had a really pleasant stay. We’ve docked a star because we were not told on arrival that we needed a code for the toilet block and when we tried to visit in the evening obviously couldn’t get entrance neither could we get through to the reception on the telephone because there was no signal. That said we had on board facilities so it didn’t cause us too much of a hassle. Additionally it is a bit frustrating having to go back to reception to return the gate fob. There should be a deposit box on the way out as when you have a caravan hooked up, going backwards and forwards isn’t really convenient. The pitch itself was beautiful and we had a lovely view. The countryside around there was very nice and it was a very quiet campsite.

Great place to stay to visit the Kelpies and Falkirk wheel from. Good toilet facilities and cafe. Didn't get to explore the local countryside but it looked nice. Obviously hilly, difficult to find a pitch for a tent without a significant slope. Loved the tables and cooking platforms. The motorhome pitches looked massive.
