Blissful relaxation in a stunning location Being our first stay at Ty Mawr, we went expecting to stay for 2 nights before moving on to North Wales. We ended up staying for our full 6 night break, wishing that we didn’t have the commitment that meant we had to head home, we were all gutted to leave, including Rafa our Chocolate Lab! We walked everywhere only using the camper once to explore the area further afield. Jim and Debbie have created a wonderful haven of peace and tranquillity within a beautiful area of Shropshire, making a special effort to ensure we all felt welcome, particularly Rafa…they are exceptionally doggie friendly, everyone camping there had one or more dogs! Thank you both for such a wonderful and much needed break 😎 x

A large quiet CL edging alongside The Llangollen Canal. There are good facilities but be aware there is very little internet due to its location. However only 10 minutes from Ellesmere with a chance to catch up with signal and messages over a pint in the Black Lion. Good walks around Colemere and Ellesmere waters which was great for the dog. Ideal for a few days away from life's chaos. Owners excellent. We will be back again to recharge.

a very quiet peaceful site, basic but clean and well maitained toilets and showers. Electric Hook up available on some sites. A lovely friendly couple own and run this small friendly site

Stunning site, absolute gem! Very spacious with superb views and peace and quiet. Lovely walk into Ellesmere along the canal with very scenic views. The owner, Debbie is very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
