Hare’s Rest

Hare's Rest is a shepherd's hut built for a couple seeking countryside quiet on a working farm near Hampton Bank. Everything is on one floor: a double bedroom with a 4ft 6in bed, a shower room, and a kitchen area with microwave and fridge. Essentials like heating, linen, towels and wifi are included, along with a welcome pack on arrival.

The real appeal lies outside. The hut sits within its own enclosed garden and patio space, furnished and ready for sitting out. There's a firepit with wood for evening fires, a barbecue for cooking, and a bike store for exploring. One car can park on site. The location puts you within reach of the Llangollen Canal for towpath walks, with Ellesmere village ten minutes away and the broader Shropshire countryside on your doorstep for rambling. Chirk Castle, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the market towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury are all feasible day trips. No smoking in the hut.
